The NY Italian Bake Shop is an authentic New York Italian-American Bake Shop, and proudly woman-owned.  Joanna is Food Manager certified.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised on Long Island, I was fortunate to grow up in a place where it felt like there was an authentic Italian bake shop on every corner.

Being Italian American comes with traditions, and each birthday or holiday was celebrated with family. We always visited our neighborhood Italian bake shop to pick out a cake or pastries for the occasion to make it special. During the holidays, beautifully gift-wrapped cookie trays filled the bakery shelves. It was truly magical!

Cannoli Cake is near and dear to my heart because it was my Dad's favorite.

I always had a love for cooking and baking. I'm not surprised, because I learned from the best! I was always baking and recreating popular New York and Italian-inspired desserts and sharing them with my family and friends, especially during the holidays.

My favorite thing to bake are rainbow cookies. My recipes are inspired by famous bakeries in New York. I love recreating those familiar flavors and memories from home.

After moving away from New York, I realized how much I missed many things about it—especially sharing my Italian heritage, my family traditions, sharing my baking, and the authentic Italian bakeries. That is what inspired me to create The NY Italian Bake Shop.

My mission is to bring the authentic New York Italian bakery flavor that I grew up with, using the best possible quality and traditional recipes made with care.

Our journey has now brought us to Senoia, Georgia, which we are proud to call home.

The NY Italian Bake Shop will be operating as a Georgia cottage bakery, offering a selection of authentic Italian-American cookies made fresh, in small batches, and with the same love and attention to tradition that inspired us from the beginning.

Our specialty is traditional Italian cookies and Rainbow cookies. Our goods are made to order, and we take pride in offering fresh, handmade, and from-scratch cookies inspired by the classic Italian-American bake shops of New York.

We like to keep our menu traditional while also keeping up with new trends offered in the best bake shops in New York and beyond. As we grow, we look forward to expanding our menu and bringing you more of the classic New York Italian bakery favorites that have been part of our family traditions for generations.

We also look forward to offering our cookies for holidays, birthdays, weddings, and special events, with beautifully presented Italian cookie trays and, as we grow, custom Wedding Cookie Tables, Dessert Tables, and specialty cakes.  We proudly accept wholesale orders, and are looking forward to helping you expand your menu!

Whether you grew up visiting Italian bakeries in New York, are Italian American yourself, or are simply discovering these beloved cookies for the first time, my hope is to make your experience just as special as mine.

Because for me, these aren't just cookies.

They're family, tradition, memories, and a little taste of home.
