We want to share an important update about The NY Italian Texan Bake Shop. Due to a family illness and the need to relocate closer to loved ones, we will be closing our Texas bakery location. This decision was not made lightly, and we are deeply grateful for all the support, loyalty, and love our customers have shown over the years. As we begin a new chapter in Georgia, we’re excited to announce that our bakery will soon reopen under a new name to be announced!
Our goal is to continue sharing the same authentic Italian-American desserts you know and love — and we’re exploring options to offer nationwide shipping for cookie orders in the near future.

The NY Italian Texan Bake Shop is an authentic New York, Italian American Bake Shop serving Frisco, Texas. Woman owned, Food Manager certified, registered and insured, baking at Cibo Kitchens, shared commercial kitchen in Frisco's Rail District.
Our specialty is cannoli, traditional Italian cookies, and rainbow cookies. Enjoy our fresh, handmade and from scratch, cannoli shells, candied fruit, and almond paste! We like to keep our menu traditional, while keeping up with all the new trends offered in the best bake shops in NY and beyond! We also offer catering for Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings, or any event, custom Wedding Cookie Table, or Dessert Table, and specialty cakes. The kitchen is not a nut, gluten, dairy, or soy free facility.
About me
My name is Joanna. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised on Long Island, NY where we were fortunate to have (what felt like) an authentic Italian bake shop on every corner. Being Italian American comes with traditions and each birthday or holiday was celebrated with family. We always visited our neighborhood Italian bake shop to pick out a cake or pastries for the occasion to make it special. Cannoli Cake is near and dear to my heart, because it was my Dad’s favorite. During the holidays beautifully wrapped cookie trays filled the bakery shelves. It was truly magical!
We happily moved to Texas nine years ago, but I still miss many things I loved about New York and sharing my Italian heritage. I always had a love for cooking and baking. I am not surprised, because I learned from the best! I was always baking and recreating popular New York & Italian inspired desserts and sharing with my family and friends, especially during the holidays. My favorite thing to bake are rainbow cookies. My recipes are inspired by famous bakeries in New York.
When my youngest entered Kindergarten, I wanted to find something I could do professionally and allow me to have a creative outlet. I found that working for What A Hoot Cookie Company as a Baker on the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience project. The owners truly inspired and supported me to start my own Bakery Business journey! I felt a tug at my heart to share my love with all my new Texas friends, and The NY Italian Texan Bake Shop was born! My mission is to bring the authentic New York, Italian bakery flavor to Texas with the best possible quality, and I'm looking forward to making your experience just as special as mine!
